Presentation:
The "Causses et Gorges de l'Aveyron, St Antonin Noble Val" Intercommunal Tourist Office covers the 17 communes of the Quercy Rouergue and Gorges de l'Aveyron Community of Communes. The Gorges de l'Aveyron is an unspoilt area to the east of the Tarn et Garonne département, bordering the Aveyron, Lot and Tarn départements. It boasts a rich medieval heritage and an exceptional natural environment.
With a view to providing a reception service that meets the requirements of the Quality Tourism mark and the OTI's classification criteria in its category, the visitor advisor will provide information to OTI visitors. As a communications officer, he/she develops the attractiveness of the area in line with the overall local promotion strategy and in conjunction with the various institutional and private players in and around the area.
Tasks :
Reporting to the Department Manager :
HOME
- Physical and electronic reception of the public on or off the premises;
- Collection of visitor statistics from tourist information offices (BITs) and off-site reception areas, telephone and e-mail statistics;
- Sale of shop products, booking of guided tours organised by the OTI;
- Recording sales and reservations in the Boutique management software;
- Follow-up and reporting of boutique stocks according to BIT ;
- Guided tours as required by the team.
COMMUNICATION OFFICER - Design and drafting of a single multi-channel annual promotion-communication plan: brings together all the communication media and requirements for the year.
- Designs and coordinates a unique multi-channel promotional and communication plan: press, social media, website, radio ;
- Coordinates the production and publication of the annual brochure and welcome brochures;
- Designs and formats content (written material for the web and social networks, podcasts, interviews) for the OTI's communication media;
- Implements and monitors a programming strategy according to budgetary possibilities;
- Monitors institutional partnerships such as: PMQ, ADT, CRT, neighbouring OTI ;
- Researching and monitoring promotional partnerships in conjunction with management;
- Participates in the drafting of strategic communication materials;
- A newsletter for the general public;
- Produces and schedules reports (photo, video, etc.) and contributes to the deployment of a photo-video library.
Representing the Office at external local and regional events (trade fairs, etc.)
Desired profile :
Skills - aptitudes
Higher education (business, marketing or tourism) and experience (ideally in tourism)
- Perfect command of French (written and spoken) + 2 languages (written and spoken, preferably relevant to the place of employment), including English,
- Mastery of marketing tools and promotional techniques in the tourism sector
- Comfortable using digital tools (office suite - Canva - WordPress - Apidae or other information systems) tourism) ;
- B driving licence,
- Be organised, available, rigorous and adaptable,
- Diplomatic and empathetic, able to work as part of a team,
- Ability to analyse and summarise reports useful to the organisation,
- Proposing new content/products/services and objectives (user satisfaction, etc.),
- Creativity and responsiveness.
- Lecturer's guide card.
Other job-related information :
- 35-hour annual work schedule, including weekends and public holidays
- A driving licence is required (travel to various offices in the region)
- Place of employment: Inter-municipal tourist offices.
