Support for the organisation of a sporting event within the inter-communal area The assignment will provide an introduction to the preparation and organisation of a sporting and tourist event in the area, in conjunction with various local tourism stakeholders. From 1 March to 31 August Duration 6 months 28 hours<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Your mission<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Promoting the region's sporting and outdoor activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Promotion of sporting activities for all in the area and networking between outdoor activities and local tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Actions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The young people on civic service will be involved in an events project and will be supported by their tutor and various partners from the Tourist Office, as well as the whole team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of their role, they will also be required to strengthen the Tourist Office reception team (physical and telephone reception). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ability to take the initiative:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Civic Service volunteers can make suggestions and develop the content of their assignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Your environment<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Compulsory training:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During their placement, volunteers receive PSC1 certification training in first aid and civic education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tutoring and support:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Volunteers are also supported by a mentor within the host organisation to help them successfully complete their assignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
