Deze twee dorpen worden gescheiden door een hoofdweg en een visrijke rivier: de Bonnette.<\/p><p>Het dorp Lacapelle-Livron, met zijn rijke historische verleden, heeft de goed bewaarde overblijfselen van een tempelierscommanderij gesticht tegen het einde van de 11e eeuw, geflankeerd door een Romaanse kerk en een klokkentoren uit de 13e eeuw. Dit oude dorp strekt zich uit langs een richel die over de vallei uitkijkt en eindigt op een plateau dat een weids panorama biedt. Onderweg kom je een 14e-eeuwse overdekte markthal tegen en de 15e-eeuwse kapel van Notre Dame des Gr\u00e2ces, een uiterst elegant gebouw dat ook bedekt is met leistenen daken en prachtig gelegen is aan de rand van het plateau. Op het kalksteenplateau wordt het dorp omringd door een mix van oude en moderne gebouwen. Ondanks de afname van het aantal boeren wordt het land nog steeds gebruikt voor landbouwdoeleinden.<\/p><p>Het dorp Saint-Peyronis, aan de andere kant van de Bonnette, bestaat uit klei-kalkachtige bodems, waar nog steeds een grote, jonge boerenbevolking woont en zich enkele recente ambachtslieden hebben gevestigd.<\/p><p>Lacapelle-Livron is een rustig, warm en gastvrij dorp, waar boeren, ambachtslieden, restauranteigenaren, gepensioneerden en vakantiegangers naast elkaar leven in een vriendelijke sfeer, en niet te vergeten de vele jonge stellen die in het dorp wonen maar er op uit
