Het dorp heeft alle noodzakelijke voorzieningen: kleine winkels, medisch centrum, school, recreatiecentrum aan de oevers van het meer van Parisot. De gemeente zet zich ook in voor een beleid van betaalbaar wonen en biedt goedkope woningen en bouwgrond tegen betaalbare prijzen. Parisot kan ook bogen op een levendig gemeenschapsleven, met sportactiviteiten, een festival rond het meer en een internationale kunsttentoonstelling in het huis.<\/p><p>Parisot is de geboorteplaats van de beroemde familie La Valette, waarvan het meest illustere lid, Jean de la Valette, geboren in Ch\u00e2teau de Labro en grootmeester in de Orde van Malta, de stichter is van La Valette, de
