The Fabrique de Caylus is a department of the QRGA Community of Communes. Its mission is to develop the creativity and autonomy of individuals through the sharing of knowledge, techniques and skills. La Fabrique de Caylus works to pass on knowledge in all creative fields. It follows in the footsteps of the pioneers behind the first FabLabs, whose philosophy of doing, undoing and redoing to learn by doing has gradually spread around the world. The Fabrique is a space that provides citizens, schools, associations and businesses with machines and tools to prototype/make just about anything they want.

The Fabrique is one of the service components of the Caylus Third-Party Centre (currently under development). The latter is a winner of the APP Fabrique de territoire, DEFI'OCC and the AMI Manufacture de proximité. The Fabrique's services are linked to these programmes, and in 2023 it will host training courses and a Master's degree (BAC +4 and BAC +5) from the Tarn-et-Garonne Chamber of Trades and Crafts. It has 1,000 m2 of space in the Caylus business park, as well as a workshop in the town centre. The Fabrique has a wood, metal, textile, clay and 3D printing workshop.
