La Fabrique - Caylus

Location

Caylus

Start date

1 September 2023

Duration

8 months

Objectives:

  • Volunteers will be able to give free rein to their creativity in a role that gives them a great deal of autonomy. The Tiers Lieu in Caylus aims to promote a new public service adapted to the area in which it is located.

Actions :

    • The mission of the Fabrique de Caylus is to develop the creativity and autonomy of individuals through the sharing of knowledge, techniques and skills. It works to pass on knowledge in all creative fields. It carries on the legacy of the pioneers behind the first FabLabs, whose philosophy of doing, undoing and redoing to learn by doing has gradually spread around the world.

Whether it's in the field of technology or IT,

arts and crafts, La Fabrique de Caylus is at the crossroads of trade, culture and the arts.

      conviviality and innovation.

It houses dozens of machines, including 3D printers (one of which is a large-format earth printer), a 4-axis milling machine, a large-format CNC milling machine, three laser printers (one of which is a large-format printer), a CNC plasma printer and a range of other tools (thermoforming machine, heat press, digital embroidery machine, 3D scanner, etc.).
