Service road

Introducing the service

The Communauté de communes has an extensive network of hiking trails (34 PR). There has long been a willingness to take action in the area. Maintaining, restoring and developing our area is one of our priorities.

The road maintenance unit is responsible for :

- creation,

- signposting

- maintenance of footpaths.

The local authority's desire to satisfy users of the region's footpaths and mountain bike trails. In fact, for over twenty years, 3 agents from the Communauté de communes have been assigned to these maintenance and marking tasks.

PR" hiking trails are specifically signposted (yellow arrows) on all routes in the area. These paths are included in the departmental plan of walking and hiking routes (PDIPR).

The mountain bike trails also have their own signposting.

The task of the paths department is not an easy one: more than 1,200 km of paths are open in the QRGA, including PR and mountain bike trails.

When you walk along a signposted path, you are well aware that grass grows in all areas at the same time. So please bear with the technical team responsible for clearing and mowing, who sometimes find it hard to keep ahead of your every step.
