Missions

Assisting the line operator in checking the conformity of the products manufactured against the OF and supplying the production line (batch changes).

Stains

1. Production preparation, supply and control

- Take note of production parameters (volume, rate, instructions from previous teams, etc.).

- Assist with the line start-up check-up (cleanliness of workstations, workstation safety, etc.).

- Enter the data required (yellow sheet) to start production for a new OF (change of series).

- Change series (quantity, quality) throughout the shift.

- Applying standard procedures for series changes during production and when changing production orders.

- Visually inspecting products in accordance with defined quality criteria and resources.

- Discard rejects (stems or moulds) according to quality criteria.

- Participate in recording control data.

2. Organisation of the workstation

- Assist the driver in meeting production and quality quotas (OF, production monitoring).

- Apply good manufacturing practice (standards).

- Cleaning workstations.

- Participate in cross-functional working groups (TIER).

3. Communication

- Communicating malfunctions to the line driver.

- Helping to pass on instructions to the next team.

- Suggesting changes with a view to continuous improvement.

- Helping to welcome and train operators.

Skills required

Knowledge

- Ability to read an OF and documentation relating to the OF and/or the position (production, technical, quality, HSE, etc.).

- Ability to understand the characteristics of components and products.

- Ability to understand the basic operation of the machine.

- Ability to understand and master the company's main objectives (production, quality, HSE, etc.).

Know-how

- Ability to fill in documents relating to its activity.

- Ability to analyse the number of series changes on the workstation (reading a schedule).

- Ability to refer constantly to the production order and to documentation relating to the job.

- Ability to identify malfunctions and propose solutions for improvement.

- Ability to understand the procedures involved in changing series.

- Ability to understand and master good manufacturing practice.

Know-how

- Ability to give clear feedback on malfunctions and information relating to the business.

- Ability to teach.

- Ability to follow and remind people of the rules in force.

- Ability to train new arrivals.

- Capacity for self-control (conflict, accidents, emergencies, etc.).

Security

On a day-to-day basis, complies with Health, Safety and Environment instructions

- Shoes and goggles must be worn + other PPE (gloves, earplugs, etc.) specified for the task to be carried out

- Apply the rules of "gestures and postures" when handling equipment

- Tidying up and cleaning the workstation at the end of the day

- No storage in traffic aisles

- No clutter in front of emergency exits and fire-fighting equipment

- Respect pedestrian walkways and keep a watchful eye on trolley and pedestrian traffic

- Participates in prevention by making observations.

- Applies the site's general Health, Safety and Environment instructions in the context of his or her workstation or sector and for any emergency situation (accident, fire, evacuation).

- Participates in the HSE Management System (HSE MS) through the site's HSE policy and the site's annual HSE commitments.

- Contributes to the site's continuous improvement by reporting problems with the application of instructions and HSE deviations identified (minor accidents, high-risk situations, near misses) and by proposing HSE improvement measures.

Follow and respect schedules

- Check the notice boards regularly

- Pick up paper, pieces of wood, film, plastic, etc.

- Keep the workstation tidy and clean at all times
