Canoeing

Canoeing down the Aveyron

Let yourself be carried along by the current, cross small rapids, picnic in the shade on a rock, put down the oars for a few moments to enjoy the limestone landscapes. The descent of the Aveyron is a remarkable nautical getaway, where the landscape changes with the seasons.

The exceptional site of the Aveyron Gorges is classified Natura 2000, and is home to a number of protected species whose habitat must be preserved. Don't forget to leave the river and its banks as you found them.
