Support for the creation of new fun tours and itineraries

The assignment will involve taking part in the launch of a project to "gamify" visits to the inter-communal area in line with the missions of the Tourist Office and their Tourist Information Offices.

Position to be filled as soon as possible

Duration 8 months

Citizen objective

To showcase the region and its assets in a way that respects the sites, and to design innovative visitor tools that encourage visitors to discover the region in a fun way and promote a better distribution of tourist flows. Facilitating links with tourism service providers and the Tourist Office.

Daily actions

The young person on civic service will be part of the implementation of a project that is already underway, and will be supported in their mission by their tutor, as well as by the whole team, and in particular by the person in charge of guided tours and groups. The communications department will also be able to provide expertise and support in preparing games in the area, with a view to creating a game box.

As part of their role, they will also be required to go out and meet the region's tourism stakeholders, as well as strengthening the Tourist Office's reception team (in person, over the phone and on social networks).

Compulsory training

During their placement, volunteers receive PSC1 certification training in first aid and civic education (content and format vary depending on the host organisation: lectures, debates, etc.). These two training courses must be organised by the host organisation and completed during the Civic Service commitment period.

Tutoring and support

Volunteers are also supported by a mentor within the host organisation to help them successfully complete their assignment. The tutor also helps the volunteer to think about his or her plans for the future at the end of the Civic Service and draws up a personal report.

Initiative

Civic Service volunteers can make suggestions and develop the content of their assignment.

Volunteers will be able to develop the content of their assignment, which will include a strong emphasis on research and creation.
