MISSIONS
In order to develop the attractiveness of the area and its visibility as a destination, the Visitor Adviser - Boutique & Production contributes to the quality of the welcome and guarantees a tourist welcome that complies with the requirements of the Quality Tourism mark and the OTI's classification. As part of the Guided Tours Service, the agent organises the booking and renewal of guided tours.
ACTIVITIES
Home
- Physical and paperless reception of the public on or off the premises
- Gathering of visitor statistics for Tourist Information Offices (BITs) and off-site reception areas, telephone and e-mail statistics
- Sale of shop products, booking of guided tours organised by the OTI
- Recording sales and reservations in the Boutique management software
- Tracking and reporting boutique stocks according to BIT
- Guided tours as required by the team
Shop events
- Setting up partnerships, negotiations
- Off-season boutique events with craftspeople
- Staging the Boutiques
Guided tours
- Management and coordination of the guided tour service: options, bookings, invoicing and monitoring of payments, pricing
- Re-writing the tour circuits in a fun, Cluedo-style approach
- Preparation of communication materials linked to the tours created (particularly in season)
- Design of one or more gaming boxes in the area or in villages
- Monitoring of various partnerships: PAH, PETR, ADT, OTI
- Creation, management and implementation of guided tours
- Creation, management and production of themed games for the general public
- Apidae portfolio monitoring Craftspeople, cultural sites, local producers
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE
Training / Knowledge
- Profile required: lecturer's guide card required
- Bac+2 level (BTS, DEUG, DUT or DEUST) /Professional guide qualification
- Knowledge of tourism and business development
- Local knowledge for tourism promotion / Tourism news
- Ability to greet the public in foreign languages (primarily English)
- Knowledge of tourism promotion tools
- Knowledge of tourism communication tools
- Knowledge of the region is a plus
Know-How
- Production of management reports - Business monitoring (visitor numbers, marketing, etc.)
- Excel spreadsheet data entry / Mailings
- Writing skills
- Proficiency in office automation tools and Pack Office
- Telephone contact skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to lead a group on a guided tour
