Company aid

As part of the NOTRe Act (Act no. 2015-991 of 7 August 2015 on the new territorial organisation of the Republic), the legislator has confirmed the powers of intercommunal bodies in terms of economic development. Article 3 of the aforementioned law (L1511-3 of the CGCT), emphasises that EPCIs have full competence in the area of business property support (definition of support or support schemes) and that the Regions can intervene in addition to inter-municipalities via an agreement.
