OPEN-ENDED CONTRACT / Full-time

Subscriber management :

  • Drawing up estimates for connections ;
  • Installation of connections ;
  • Breakdown service on the connection device (installation and replacement of parts) ;
  • Maintenance of metering equipment (meter, tap, valve, etc.) ;
  • Meter reading with digital tablet,

Network maintenance :

  • Water shutdown management (access, valve operation, network drainage, etc.)
  • Detecting malfunctions and carrying out routine repairs (changing valves, sectorisation meters, etc.).

  • Monitoring levels with control and leak detection tools;
  • Leak detection and repair
  • Maintaining the quality of drinking water (purging, monitoring, etc.)
  • Field surveys (for renewal work, network tracing, etc.)
  • Responses to DICT
  • Maintenance of network components (suction cup, pressure stabiliser, pilot valve, etc.)
  • Installation and replacement of meters (all diameters)
  • Updating the network map (GIS: QGIS)

Cross-functional tasks:

  • Ensure the safety of work sites and operations ;
  • Water supply network on-call (1 week out of 4) ;
  • Reporting on network operations to the team and the department manager;
  • Coordinating tasks with the team and the department manager.

Desired profile :

Know-how :

    • Desirable knowledge in the field of drinking water and public works;
    • Be familiar with pipe-laying techniques and the components used in a drinking water network;
    • Knowledge of standard office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.);
    • Knowledge of business software would be a plus (PcWin, Qgis, SOFREL, etc.);
    • Able to work outdoors all year round;
    • Autonomy in carrying out tasks and taking the initiative in basic curative or preventive work;
    • B" driving licence required;
    • Possession of a "C" driving licence and the ability to drive site machinery such as a mini excavator would be an additional advantage.

      • Autonomous, rigorous, committed and motivated.

    Working conditions :
    • Working outdoors ;
    • Service car ;
    • Regular working hours (8am-12pm / 12.30pm-5.30pm) with on-call periods;
    • Peak activity during the meter-reading period (May to July) and during periods of frost;
