Full-time position: 35 hours / week

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The youth leisure centre manager draws up and proposes an educational project for the reception of young people, based on the educational project.
He organises and coordinates the activities of the youth centre and the PIJ and supervises the activity team, while ensuring the moral, physical and emotional safety of the young people.
As a member of the entertainment team, they integrate, participate in and enrich the life of the entertainment team to which they belong.
As a project facilitator, it enables projects to be expressed, implemented and evaluated.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

- Teamwork with the other site managers;
- Definition of strategic guidelines for the youth centre ;
- Designing and leading leisure activities and youth projects;
- Partnership development ;
- Monitoring and control of health and safety rules ;
- Taking into account the needs of families and young people;
- Administrative and financial management ;
- Enrolment management, using the software to create family files, make reservations, check attendance and register for social assistance;
- Communicating and helping to create leaflets and distribute programmes;
- Manage the vehicles made available;
- Manage and evaluate the team;
- PIJ activities ;
- Welcoming visitors to the facility;
- Monitor information and documentation on youth issues;
- Develop a digital presence in line with the Net Promoter Charter;
- Networking (Youth Information Collective, municipal services, external partners) ;
- Develop the PIJ Mobile across the region with all partners;
- Support young people in their individual and collective projects (holidays, leisure, integration, BAFA...);
- Understand all the youth facilities available in the area (Metropole, Département, Region, etc.);
- Analyse and respond to local issues (prevention of risk behaviour, youth information, etc.);
- Raising young people's awareness of the problems of risky behaviour and the use of digital technology (internet, social networks, various themes);
- Organise and run prevention initiatives in secondary schools.

Skills required

TO KNOW:

- help define the strategic direction of the youth leisure centre;
- negotiate with line management the means of implementing the reception project ;
- managing and leading the collective development of the centre's educational project;
- to design, coordinate, monitor and evaluate all the activities produced by the team;
- identify and mobilise strategic internal and external partners ;
- planning and organising local events;
- to draw up and allocate the financial envelope for promotional projects within the allocated budget;
- carrying out administrative follow-up and reporting on activities;
- designing and fitting out activity areas ;
- organising the management of premises, spaces and equipment ;
- draw up the internal regulations and ensure that they are applied;
- Dialogue with young people and parents;
- define human resources requirements and associated skills ;
- allocate and plan activities according to the centre's constraints ;
- knowledge of children, pre-teens and teenagers and of the reception environment.

QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING

  • - BPJEPS LTP or equivalent ;
    - B driving licence required.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE POSITION :

  • The position is based at the youth centre in St Antonin Noble Val. Travel may be required.
  • B driving licence required
  • Evening and weekend work possible
  • Departures are possible depending on the projects supported
